Despite its lightness, the cream should not be liquid or “flow”. Eye cream should have a thicker texture than face cream. It “sits” better and adheres to the thin skin of the area around the eyes.

SPF protection

Having SPF protection is extremely important in an eye cream. But we constantly forget about this, and finding a good cream for the skin around the eyes with SPF is not an easy task.

If your eye cream doesn't have SPF, apply the SPF you use on your face over it. Another option is decorative cosmetics with SPF protection (concealer, foundation, eye shadow).

Don't forget about sunglasses. They will save you even if you are left without SPF in the area around your eyes.

Important! Ideally, sunscreen filters in an eye cream with SPF should be physical. Chemical filters can potentially cause eye irritation.
